SIERRA CANCER WELLNESS GROUP
The "SWELL" Team is re-focusing efforts in the Cancer arena for the summer months by a different approach. They will not be having support group meetings at the Pollock Pines Community Center for a few months but when they resume I will be in touch to let you know when they resume.
They have interrupted their monthly meetings to reach out to cancer patients in other directions, including but not limited to working with Oncology offices within our county to aide patients and families during their time of need. Among the projects they are proud to be assisting the Marshall Cancer Resource Center with some of their projects across the county for community outreach. The Marshall Cancer Resource Center will continue to have monthly meetings for those who would like to meet in a group setting. Please call 672-7050 for further information.
sierracancersupportgroup@comcast.net.
As always this group is open to individuals recently diagnosed with cancer, their families, survivors, caregivers, men and women who have questions they might be able to help. If not they can definately point you in the right direction!
Every single person matters. Should you have any questions, please call 530.672.7050, or write sierracancersupportgroup@comcast.net.
